In the process of drawing portraits! :D
It is as it says in the topic box. I am opening up my portrait commissions(Meaning head to chest), but i need new, more updated examples to display on my page. This is digital art only. I do not draw anything that's "Mature Content" so if you want something like that, you will not find it here Noes! .

If you'll allow me to use the final product as an example on my page and be one of the first few to comment AND send me a note including the following things for your OCs:

Llama-Emoji-13 (I'm Pretty) [V1]Appearance: Eye/Hair color, skin tone, scars/tattoos that can be seen on the upper body, age, preferred clothing, and of course the gender of your character; this includes any references you want me to look to (can be drawings people and celebrities for all i care. just send a link too them in a note)

Personality: their quirks or anything else that would help describe their pose in the picture (for example if your character's a bit goofy they'd pose loosely and make a dorky face Dork Dance 2 )

Background: i don't mean your characters personal information per say (though i may get curious later and ask about itCurious ) I'm refer to the coloring of the picture behind the character and the over all lighting in the picture. You can find references in other pictures if you don't know how to put it in words. It can be landscapes or as simple as you want it to be.

Lastly the portrait can be in B&W or in color (if you tell me the hair in skin tones then ill just assume it's color but if you don't specify you want it in black and white then it won't be )

I'll post some examples of my past work in the comments area but honestly they're outdated (hence why im doing this).

*racks brain for anything else i might want add* ........... Nope that's it! I am a dummy!

Hei thanks for the fave and the watch as well ! Really cool gallery, I like the stile you're developing and I think you're doing a great job. I like the way you render the skin and the material. I think you just need a little more practice to push your work on the next level. One thing that could you study more it's about composition. You tend sometimes o ignore the frame construction to float to the rendering part. It's a kind of an annoying process. It hit me as well sometimes I forgot what I'm doing and it carry me on for a while before I got I'm going to the wrong direction. It's just about stop it in the right moment.
Another things I notice it's that sometimes you stop the rendering process letting the work kind incomplete. I mean it's in a good stage but it could be way more.
I think you can definitely go true on the process and having a better result like those character:………
Look on those ref, how they use the focus point to define the render region. Most of the time the face of the guy it's the center of your attention so you don't need to render it 100 %, but you can use the blur region to give a photo realistic look, and save you time in the same moment.…………
I hope I was helpful somehow. Keep going in this way I can wait to see more stuff from you. :D
